  1. Close every browser. Chrome alone can hold 2–3 GB.
  2. Set the page file to system-managed on your fastest drive — do not disable it.
  3. Disable startup apps you do not need (Task Manager → Startup).
  4. Turn off Xbox Game Bar and background recording.

Keep Object Quality at 100 minimum. Below that, loot and building parts pop in so late that the game becomes unplayable in a different way.
